I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was charming and reminded me of a classic Danish cottage, which made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and comfortable, perfect for senior people like myself to relax and enjoy. Additionally, the hotel was very accessible, with ramps and elevators available for easy navigation. It was such a relief to stay in a place that catered to the needs of senior guests.

It would have been even more perfect if the children working there were more attentive to the needs of senior people. A little more assistance and understanding from them would have made the vacation even better.

The facilities were better than I expected, the food was also better and the staff were helpful

The location was good, with Restaurant Kildesoe nearby. Brilliant base for those searching sleep in Silkeborg.

Scandic remains the market leader, with its amazing buffet breakfast, free access to the gym and indoor pool, and a pleasant hotel bar to relax in.

Who needs modern amenities when you can enjoy a public internet computer and a mini shop straight out of the 90s?

we needed somewhere cheap and clean to sleep whilst visiting friends and it ticked that box

Although the staff were courteous they were not particularly helpful for instance we mistook the lobby area as the breakfast area whereas in fact it was set up for a conference breakfast which we helped ourselves to.There was another restaurant for breakfast but none of the staff who walked by explained this to us. Although our beds were made the bathroom wasn't cleaned and the toilet could have been cleaner. We also noticed that children were allowed to run up and down the corridors from 7.30 am in the morning which I understand isn't the fault of the hotel but soundproofing could be better

We had a ground floor room no airconditioning and a window that could be opened from outside.

The hotel location was perfect, easy to park, and in beautiful surroundings near lakes and forest. The breakfast selection was impressive, especially the unique ginger shots and local honey. The hotel facilities, including the swimming pool and kids' play area, were great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Had a wonderful Christmas at a hotel surrounded by beautiful nature. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner and had a great time at the hotel's bar, which had a great selection of drinks. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore the nearby countryside. the hotel had free parking and a great value for the price.

Some construction work was going on during our stay, which was a bit noisy at times. , the breakfast selection could have been better and the coffee could have been hotter.

The hotel is beautifully located near a serene lake, which was very peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom could have been better, especially since we stayed for a few nights. The lack of vacuuming and wiping of surfaces during our stay was disappointing. Additionally, the restaurant menu was limited and a bit pricey, so we ended up dining outside.
